Ideas and care with pallets  Care in choosing:

 The ideal is to know the origin of the pallet. Even those who look very young can cause damage to their health due to the treatment they received or what they carried. Cracked, hollow, brittle, oil-stained or termite or mold marks should be discarded. The wood is very porous and mold can seep into it. In this case, there is no use sanding and painting - the mold will be down there.

Care in use:

- Preferably avoid creating furniture that allows direct contact of the pallet wood with food, plants (such as vegetable gardens) or toys for children (I would also add animals).

  Care in treatment :

- Remove all nails. Always wear gloves to avoid injury.

- Rub the wood with bleach mixed with soap and water. Rinse and let dry.

Holes in the wood may indicate termite infestation.

You can love this detonated aspect ... But you will not like it when a splinter enters your leg ... Or hits it in these pointed corners ...
